Whether you are new to yoga, or have been practicing for a long time a private yoga lesson can be an invaluable boost to your yoga practice. Through one on one sessions Pam can assist students who are new to yoga in learning the basics to safely begin their yoga journey. She will listen to your intentions and help you develop a practice suited to your unique physiology
If you already have an established practice Pam can assist you in fine tuning your practice and facilitate a deeper understanding of your unique anatomy and how to make the poses distinctively yours. She can offer tools to take your practice to the next level, whether that means learning more advanced poses like headstand, or becoming more aware of your breathing.
Pam loves working one on one with students, which allows her to cater each lesson to the needs of the individual in a therapeutic way. This approach honors the fact that even though we all have the same bones and muscles in our bodies, how these bones and muscles fit together and work is different from student to student. Applying this concept can make yoga more safe, accessible, therapeutic and fun for both student and teacher. In addition to traditional asana practice, Pam also teaches chair yoga to seniors, and gentle yoga that can be modified for most everyone. She is a certified yoga therapist with The International Association of Yoga Therapists and has been teaching for over 25 years.
Currently offering private sessions in person and online. If you are interested in more information about private yoga lessons in St Louis, or would like to schedule a session contact Pam at 314-401-6752 or pam@justpracticeyoga.com
