A project to reconstruct Greenwood Blvd from Sussex to Canterbury started this week. They will be doing two blocks at a time, first the north side lane on Greenwood, and when that is finished, they will do the south side lane. The entire project is expected to go through the fall (depending on weather delays).
They are currently tearing up several blocks on the north side of Greenwood from Sussex to Sutton.

This situation reminds me of when they closed highway 64/40 for two years and I think most of us were initially a bit freaked out, then after the first couple weeks we all learned our way around. "The only constant in the universe is change" -- even though most of us are uncomfortable with change. May we all take some deep breaths, allow a little extra time and go with the flow.

You cannot access Greenwood from Sutton, although there are some parking options on that side of the railroad tracks.
You cannot get to Greenwood using the Railroad St exit ramp from southbound Big Bend. If you do take the ramp, you can get to Sutton and possible parking on that side of the tracks.

There is only one way traffic heading east on Greenwood from the Big Bend end to St Elmo (which is just past the studio).
If traveling North on Big Bend either take the ramp that drops you off on Greenwood heading east, or turn right on Oxford then left on Sussex or Kensington and right on Greenwood.
If traveling South on Big Bend, go to the light at Oxford and turn left, then left on Sussex or Kensington and right on Greenwood.
To get to Big Bend from the studio head east first, turn right on St Elmo or Picadilly, then right on Oxford and take that to the light at Big Bend.
There is two-way traffic from St Elmo all the way to Canterbury to the east.

You still access Greenwood from Canterbury to the east.
If you are coming from the east end there is a "road closed no thru traffic" sign at Picadilly. Go around that and continue west towards the studio.
There is also a road closed do not enter sign at St Elmo, you can also go around this one to get closer to the studio.
This means there is only one way traffic heading east on Greenwood from the Big Bend end to St Elmo. Then there is two-way traffic from St Elmo all the way to Canterbury to the east.
If you need to head west to get to Big Bend from the studio head east first, turn right on St Elmo, then right on Oxford and take that to the light at Big Bend.

South side of Greenwood from Sussex all the way to Canterbury.
North side of Greenwood from Canterbury to St Elmo.
East side of Sutton north of the railroad tracks. You will need to walk across the tracks and Greenwood to get to the studio.
North side of Pacific Ave north of the railroad tracks. You will need to walk across the tracks and Greenwood to get to the studio.
Gravel area north of railroad tracks to the west of Sutton.
