Time to emerge from the long winter and enjoy an afternoon of restorative yoga, presence, and community at Just Practice Yoga. The workshop will begin with gentle movement before the stillness of longer held, supported poses. By using props (such as blankets, bolsters, blocks and straps) deeper states of rest and relaxation become possible. The use of props support the physical body, this in turn also supports the mind, creating space to practice “being” rather than “doing”.
Class will focus on twists, coming into stillness to meet ourselves just as we are with an open heart and listen there. Twists wring out the old, creating space for the new! They also physically restore the spine’s natural range of motion, cleansing the organs and releasing stuck energy. Just in time for Spring, a new beginning.
All levels of experience can benefit from this practice and no prior experience is necessary. Props will be provided but if you have your own please bring them along, especially a favorite blanket for covering up!
Pre-Registration is recommended to secure your space in this special class. The last two workshops sold out!
Come rest your body and mind. Come and be.
